Transliteration sound mapping — how to read Uyghur

The large Latin reading letters come from your supplied key-tooltip mapping. They are reading symbols, not US typing keys. For example ä means ە, ġ means غ, and ḣ means ھ.

Vowel-initial words may include ئ; this supporting letter is not pronounced separately in the transliteration. Latin output follows the written letters and is an approximate reading guide, not phonetic IPA or a dictionary.

Word / PowerPoint: Click Copy for Word / PowerPoint, paste using Keep Source Formatting, then set paragraph direction to Right-to-Left if your app does not retain it. Choose Microsoft Uighur (or UKIJ Tuz if installed) in Office. When Show Latin above Uyghur words is checked, both copy buttons include Latin readings: Office receives editable ruby text (larger Latin above smaller Uyghur), while plain-text-only apps receive Latin and Uyghur on paired lines. Uncheck it to copy Uyghur only. Text remains editable.
Punctuation: , → ، · ; → ؛ · Shift + / (?) → ؟. Eight vowels are shown in their first (-1) forms. No old multi-form keyboard.
